Laboratory History
Independent analytical laboratory analyzing petroleum samples as a support function for CI's inspection services since 1978.
CI's tremendous growth has expanded into environmental analytical fields together with petroleum analytical services, in WA, OR and CA in 1987. These increased capabilities have progressed CI's enormous capabilities and enveloped CI's analytical capabilities to include Certifications to benefit all public needs, as well as local State and Federal government entities.
Capabilities
Multiple analytical techniques facilitating the usage of the following analytical
equipment/methods.
- Flame and graphite furnace atomic absorption spectroscopy
(FLAA/GFAA)
- Inductively coupled plasma spectroscopy (ICP)
- Gas chromatography (PID, FID,ECD)
- Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS)
- X-ray fluorescence (XRF)
- Ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry (UV-Vis)
- Various titrametric, colorimetric, and gravimetric methods
