Columbia Inspection (CI) was established in Portland Oregon in 1978 and is an American developed company. Well established and believing in protecting their customers interests with the highest levels of liability protection far exceeding the industries requirements. CI is approved by the US Customs Service and is licensed by state and local governments. CI Laboratories are State Certified and maintain membership to National accreditation organizations including the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the American Society for testing and Materials (ASTM).

Since our inception we have grown and changed tremendously. We currently operate full service offices in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. With the use of ISO 9002 Registered affiliates, we provide our services to the entire domestic petroleum market.

Furthermore, we participate in round robin evaluations along with having our own internal audits and quality performance evaluations. We encourage audits by external quality conscientious companies. We are members of ASTM, API, along with being a U.S. Customs Approved Gauger and Laboratory.
